Reef Break Left Hander
Balangan beach is a beautiful white sandy beach located around of Uluwatu, Reef break left hander, long left and fast waves with many sections. While there has been quite a lot of recent development the area still retains some of it’s old charm and is reminiscent of how it was back in the 1980’s when it was first surfed. Surfable on all tides, novice surfers are only advised to surf it when small and on higher tides. It is a very consistent wave and while it is possible to get surf experience for ride of the Balangan waves, most of waves break too fast for the average surfer. Best on bigger days but suitable for intermediate surfers on medium days and novices when small enough.
